Terms of use

Last updated 11 September 2026

These terms cover your use of jeepwranglertj.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who runs this site

jeepwranglertj.com is operated by Absolutely Elite LLC, a Texas company. You can reach us at info@absolutelyelite.com.

What this site is

This is an editorial reference for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and the 2004-2006 Wrangler Unlimited LJ. It explains parts, geometry and trade-offs so owners can make better decisions.

It is information, not professional advice. Nothing here replaces a qualified mechanic, the manufacturer's instructions for a part, or the factory service manual for your model year.

Working on your Jeep

Changing suspension, steering or driveline parts changes how a vehicle handles, brakes and rolls over. Working under a vehicle can cause serious injury or death if it is not supported correctly.

Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and torque figures for every part, and confirm them against the factory service manual. If you are not sure, have a qualified shop do the work or check it. You are responsible for your vehicle, how it is modified, and whether it meets the laws where you drive it, including rules on lift height, tire coverage, lighting and mirrors.

Fitment, specifications and prices

We take fitment, specifications, warranty terms and prices from manufacturers and retailers, and we cite our sources on each page. Makers change parts, fitment and prices without notice, and sources sometimes disagree.

Confirm fitment and price with the manufacturer or seller before you buy. Prices on this site are dated. A Rough Country price is its minimum advertised price (MAP) on the date shown, and a competitor price is the one on the maker's own site on the date shown.

Comparisons and opinions

Our comparison verdicts are editorial opinion, based on the published information cited in each article. No manufacturer paid for, reviewed or approved any article before publication.

Owner reports we quote are the experiences of individual owners. They are labeled as owner reports and are not specifications.

"Jeep", "Wrangler" and "Rubicon" are trademarks of FCA US LLC. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with FCA US LLC, Stellantis or the Jeep brand.

Rough Country and every other brand and product name on this site are trademarks of their owners. We use them only to identify the products being discussed. Product photos are credited to their source on the page where they appear.
